Main Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate and support events and food drives to benefit The Food Depot, in support of its mission and in accordance with approved policies, strategies and plans. Expand relationships with external constituents and key sectors including individual donors, foundations, businesses and corporations, the media, elected officials, government entities, associations, and other hunger organizations and community groups to increase The Food Depot’s presence in the community.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Schedules and tracks data for food and product drives;
• Develops website content and maintains website pages related to special events and food drives
• Develops newsletter content related to special events and food drives;
• Maintains regular communication and a close working relationship with the Marketing Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure excellent event execution;
• Solicits, schedules, and executes outreach opportunities to raise awareness about The Food Depot.
