Event and Volunteer Engagement Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Works on logistical aspects of RRFB events.
• Responsible for cash and in-kind sponsorship of annual Souper Bowl.
• Grow RRFB’s skills-based volunteer program by assessing needs, benchmarking best practices, and recruiting to ensure there are enough skills-based volunteers to meet RRFB needs.
• Develops and implements a volunteer-to-donor program that identifies and cultivates volunteers who have the interest and potential to become donors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Coordinates the use of RRFB meeting space with outside groups and RRFB team members.
• Manages recognition activities for skills-based volunteers
• Regularly solicits feedback from volunteers regarding their experience at the Food Bank.
• Acts as a representative of Roadrunner Food Bank at outside meetings and presentations with service groups, volunteer groups, and sponsors as appropriate.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts; or Three (3) to Five (5) years skills-based volunteer and event coordination experience
• Experience starting or growing a new program or department
• Outstanding organizational skills using resources within budgetary parameters
• Ability to write promotional materials, reports, and business correspondence.
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to problem solve quickly, effectively, and objectively
• Excellent Computer skills
