Main Areas of Responsibility:
Creates a team environment with the Youth Service Specialists team that supports the milieu and program to ensure consistency, clarity and safety for youth and staff.
•Model appropriate interactions with youth for staff, which are grounded in the Safe Home core principles of positive youth development.
•Provides on-the-job training, and ongoing coaching, to model appropriate and effective interventions for youth in the milieu.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
•Under the supervision of the Program Director, participates in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff, particularly evening staff. Address discipline issues as they arise and actively participate in decisions about performance improvement plans, and terminations.
