Equine Program Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for leading, planning and implementing the equine protection program for APNM, and collaborating with Animal Protection Voters staff on equine-related legislative priorities. The equine program manager’s scope of work will include domestic and free-roaming equines across New Mexico, focusing activities and resources to support the greatest number of equines.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

To be discussed during interview process.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge of equine care and equine-related issues; at least five years experience in program planning and management; formal education preferred; moderate travel around New Mexico expected, especially to rural areas of the state; valid NM driver's license required; use of personal vehicle for work-related travel required.
