Enrichment Education Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Enrichment Education Coordinator will work under the direction of the Director of Education to coordinate and continue to update an already successful camp program, participate in program development, and oversee the Museums’ hands on “Science a la Carte” program. The Enrichment Education Coordinator will teach spring, summer and winter camp programs as well as school year field trip programs for students ages preK-12. This person will attend community outreach events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In addition, the Enrichment Education Coordinator will seek opportunities to expand the structure of learning in the museum by developing specialized programs to meet community needs. The topics for the programs may include nuclear physics, physical science, science applications & history for students and families.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Enrichment Education Coordinator will be extremely detail orientated and have excellent administrative and presentation skills. A background in working with children required. The candidate will be passionate about learning and have a high degree of personal energy.. Must be well organized and able to multi. A Bachelors degree is required. This position reports to the Director of Education. Must have proven ability to work in a team-orientated environment.
