Main Areas of Responsibility:
Provides job coaching, including performing initial task analysis, training participants on the job, visiting job sites regularly and providing follow-along services. Assumes responsibility for caseload of employed participants, including documenting all services and communications in case records. Performs job development for unemployed participants and makes presentations to sell the Best Buddies Jobs Program.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Performs intakes for referred persons, conducts Individual Written Program Plan with participants and monitors progress. Assesses employers' needs and works with them to create positions that are valuable to their enterprise and in alignment with participant's goals. Maintains positive relationships with families, support coordinators, employers and referral sources. Provides participants with travel training as needed.
