Employment Community Specialist

Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Assist in the education, employment and training of eligible participants
• Coordinate and implement training, job placement for the employment and training of participants entering and/or completing a training program
• Arrange for services offered by the Agency within the areas of Bernalillo and Valencia County
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

$15.00 per hour.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in social work preferred
• Must have 1 year work experience in job development/placement and outreach
• Effectively communicate in English and Spanish
• Experience with Microsoft Office, record-keeping skills, ability to interpret and implement government regulations, work well with adults and employers
• Must be at least age 21 for insurance purposes, have own transportation and a valid NM driver’s license
