Education Program Specialist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The role of the Program Specialist is to provide sexual health education to the community and/or specified target populations. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Teach sexual health curricula presentations and lesson plans to targeted audiences.
2. Provide specialized outreach and education to target populations.
3. Guide clients in the identification of and connection to appropriate community resources.
4. Maintain and promote program goals and objectives.
5. Collect and monitor program data for tracking and monthly reporting.
6. Assist in the development of new material and innovative strategies to improve educational programs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

AD, BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
High comfort level in discussing sexuality issues.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of sexual health preferred.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
Bi- or multi-lingual preferred.
