Internship
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The internship will focus on the development and execution of public programs under the guidance of the Education Programs manager as well as enhancing the communication tools used with the Community Educators Network.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Projects will include developing and launching an online toolkit for teachers; evaluating different options, providing recommendations and populating the initial set-up for a virtual collaboration and communications tool; and assisting with off-site programming as part of an after-school initiative.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Experience with learning strategies in formal or informal environments, doing research and creating documentation
• A bachelor’s degree in art, education, art history or creative writing
• Good leadership and collaboration abilities
• Strong written and oral communications skills, including over telephone
• Basic understanding of outcome-based programming and museum evaluation
• Basic administrative and clerical skills
• Computer skills, including data bases and data base entry, and Microsoft Office
