Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The position of Education Outreach Manager consists of developing and executing strategy for community-based education, training and credentialing offerings, and assisting in scheduling training to 1,000 New Mexico customers annually. Develops and executes plan for growth.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Plans and prepares all marketing and promotional materials to increase sales of training, working with state agencies, provider agencies, educational institutions and community-based organizations.
• Delivers portions of health education and promotion programs at training workshops, conferences, and to community-based organizations.
• Respond to requests for information about training.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail in written materials
• Emphasis on ability to follow-through with other staff, customers and external stakeholders
• Requires minimal supervision
• Must be highly-organized
• One year experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Spanish language skills highly desirable
