Education Enrichment Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will coordinate, lead, and improve a highly successful winter, spring, summer, and holiday camp program, participate in school program development and delivery, and oversee the museums’ hands-on Junior Docent Science a'la Carte program. The Enrichment Education Coordinator will also be involved in annual events and community outreach efforts.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Education Enrichment Coordinator will work with Education docents, high-school aged volunteers and staff, the Director of Education, Museum Educator, Volunteer Coordinator, and instructors to ensure a consistently high level of visitor service and quality programming. Programming may consist of physical science, nuclear science, chemistry, science applications and history.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Communication and presentation skills. Experience working with camps, museums, and informal science education for a range of ages. Interest in science/history. A high degree of personal energy and creativity. Time management and organization skills. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
