Main Areas of Responsibility:
CAVU.org is seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Education Coordinator (15-20 hours per week) to support teachers and students in successfully participating in our Climate Innovation Challenge (CIC) in the Northern New Mexico region, spanning from Albuquerque to Taos, NM. As an Education Coordinator, you will play a key role in helping schools and teachers adopt and implement the CIC curriculum. The program is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of diverse communities.

Required qualifications:
-1+ years of teaching experience
-Interest in climate education.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
-Associate's degree or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working in educational settings with teachers and students.
-Event coordination experience.
-Familiarity in teaching climate education.
-Science background
-Background in visual storytelling, videography/video editing.
Salary Range:
$25-$35 per hour, depending upon experience
