Education Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for creating, implementing, managing and evaluating youth and adult education programming that includes: Creative Arts Camp (a summer day camp for children grades pre-1-6), Roots of Jazz elementary school assemblies, Adult Education classes, Summer Jazz Intensive and other programs such as the Eubank Afterschool STEAM Program, as required.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In addition, the employee in this position will be asked to explore and expand music education programming in a sustainable manner as well as research and help develop funding strategies for educational programming.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Background and experience in grant writing and music is desired, but not required. Proficiency in Office suite, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint desired. Proficiency in social media, including: Constant Contact and Facebook. Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop desired.
