Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities: Direct involvement in efforts to recruit/expand employers to New Mexico. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
• Sales trips and trade show preparation, participation, and follow-up
• Close interaction with businesses and site consultants to identify and successfully develop economic base projects considering New Mexico for relocation/expansion
• Conduct proactive sales outreach to potential prospects
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Project management and proposal development
• Follow up to clients’ requests for information
• Prepare financial incentive estimates
• Coordinate companies’ site visits
• Assist in the strategic marketing initiatives of the organization
• Close collaboration with community, regional, and state economic development organizations
• In-state and out-of- state travel required
