Early Childhood Life Skills Specialist

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the supervision of Enlace Comunitario’s (EC) Associate Director of Clinical Services, the Early Childhood Life Skills Specialist (Specialist) provides behavioral health/ management support services to children and youth through one-on-one appointments or in group contexts. The Specialist may also perform select administrative support duties. The Specialist will work closely with EC’s clinical and case management teams. Must be available to work some evening hours.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Facilitate Life Skills Groups for children and youth; Assist with the coordination of parenting classes; Complete safety plans for each child/youth as needed; Schedule and coordinate child and youth-related engagement activities; Provide individualized, non-therapeutic social-emotional and life skills support to children and youth, tailoring sessions to each client’s individualized service plan goals and developmental needs; Provide guidance and support to the survivor parent.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Position Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree (early childhood development preferred), OR
• A high school diploma or equivalency with two years’ worth of work experience, at least one of which directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above; AND
• Bilingual (English-Spanish), written and verbal required.

Salary Range: 
$24.00-$27.50/hr (depending on experience)
