Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Driver is responsible for the daily operation of a community shuttle program including transporting up to 12 passengers on a fixed route, cleaning & general care of the vehicle, and helping riders including disabled and wheelchair-bound passengers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position focuses on non-emergency transportation for the homeless and indigent looking for community services and resources in the downtown corridor of the City of Albuquerque. The driver will provide information and referral to various community resources, organizations, health and social service agencies.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The driver will exhibit a great deal of patience, understanding and strong customer service ability to help riders that may be experiencing homelessness, have physical disabilities, mental health issues, and those living in poverty.
