Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Faith Comes By Hearing has a full-time position available for a Donor Engagement Writer who is responsible for creating compelling and accurate reports for a variety of major donors, including foundations, who support the ministry. This position requires the ability to persuasively communicate the ministry’s vision and mission to others, and move them to continuously partner with the ministry financially. Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Composes compelling copy for reports and proposals for 600-plus major donors, concerning the usage of nearly $20 million in annual contributions.
Responsible for understanding and closely following often complicated submission requirements for charitable foundations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as English, Marketing or Journalism
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in writing compelling reports and proposals in a nonprofit setting
Proven history of successfully funded proposals and grants
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Superior written communication skills
Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate well with diverse teams
