Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Faith Comes By Hearing has a full-time position available for a Donor Engagement Writer who is responsible for creating compelling and accurate reports for a variety of major donors, including foundations, who support the ministry. This position requires the ability to persuasively communicate the ministry’s vision and mission to others, and move them to continuously partner with the ministry financially.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Compose compelling copy for reports and proposals for 600-plus major donors, concerning the usage of nearly $20 million in annual contributions, Responsible for understanding and closely following often complicated submission requirements for charitable foundations, Research individual projects and programs, and determine the best way to present that information to foundations and other major donors, Research and monitor internal systems to locate viable testimonies, images, etc

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as English, Marketing, or Journalism, Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in writing compelling reports and proposals in a non-profit setting, Proven history of successfully-funded proposals and grants, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Superior written communication skills, Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate well with diverse teams, Superior organizational skills, Exceptional ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
