Donor Designation Specialist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Designation Payout Specialist responsibilities include the timely and accurate processing of donor designation payments to agencies using fundraising and accounting software. Additional responsibility includes providing prompt and helpful customer service to donors, agencies and team members as well as related administrative and accounting duties.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Donor Designation Specialist is a key member of the Finance Team, engaged in a variety of areas related to donor customer service, donor database updates, credit card, deposit and refund processing, researching the nonprofit status of prospective agencies, assisting with pledge processing and other campaign related activities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Five years’ experience in customer service in a fundraising environment, accounts payable disbursements and donor database use and update.
Proficient in fundraising/donor software, accounting software and MS Excel.
Must be accurate, detail oriented and possess good communication skills.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
