Donations Coordinator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for managing and coordinating all donation pick-ups and deliveries, as well as receiving all merchandise, processing monthly reporting of sales and day-to-day tasks associated with maintaining thrift shop operations, including but not limited to maintaining adequate stock, merchandising, and working with customers and volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Unload and break down deliveries as needed. Maintain proper product assortment and inspect deliveries for quality before accepting.
• Maintain the cleanliness and conditions of storage areas and conduct minor cleaning and repairs to donations, as needed.
• Maintain proper product assortment, ordering, pricing, merchandising and inventory control to achieve established results.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•High school diploma or equivalent
•Two (2) or more years’ experience in customer service
•Ability to prioritize and properly follow through on deliverables and meet objectives and deadlines
•Two (2) or more years’ experience operating and reporting inventory and distribution systems
