Disater Specialist - Southern New Mexico

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Disaster Specialist works with the Regional Emergency Services Manager and volunteers to develop the capacity to respond to disasters in Southern New Mexico for the American Red Cross. The Disaster Specialist will be responsible for disaster planning, disaster response, volunteer development and management. The Disaster Specialist will also interface with local emergency management officials, first responders and non-governmental organizations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Strong oral/written communications skills, disaster response and/or volunteer management background required.
