Main Areas of Responsibility:
Provide overall leadership, direction and oversight to staff and operations in the area of immigration assistance services and refugee support. Responsibilities include strategic planning; new program development; grant and budget management; promotion of clients' interests through community engagement and social advocacy; staff supervision and development; and maintenance of client activities and service delivery standards. Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Bachelor’s degree required in legal, social services or other public interest related fields; minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervision and management; minimum of 2 years’ experience in federal grant management and preparing budgets; minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in a non-profit agency. Experience working with refugee / immigrant population. Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills; proficient with computers and MS Office and Windows. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
