Director of Finance and Administration

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

JFNM partners with Jewish Organizations to meet the needs of Jews in NM, Israel and worldwide through leadership, philanthropy, education, and social action. We accomplish this by: Prioritizing, funding and implementing programs, strengthening Jewish identity, supporting Israel and Jews in need.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Preparation and presentation of detailed monthly financial reporting and metrics.
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow for administration, existing programs and proposed new initiatives.
Preparation for and coordinate annual audit.
Supervise one part-time Accounting Assistant

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Finance
10 years experience managing the finance and administration of a complex organization
Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the nonprofit sector
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the Jewish Federation of New Mexico's mission
