Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position will manage & evaluate internal controls; lead strategic & corporate planning; analyze, consolidate & direct all cost accounting procedures; prepare monthly financial statements statements; prepare audit-ready books; ensure proper tracking of revenues & expenditures, including preparing journal entries & maintaining general ledger; and ensure compliance with GAAP, OMB Circulars A-110, A-122 and A-133.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position will review of all cash receipts and approval of cash disbursements; ensure timely invoicing; ensure resolution & implementation of program-specific accounting procedures/systems issues 7 changes; monitor, analyze budget & expense transactions, & provide direct support with accounts payable/receivable processes; and directly manage account set-up, budget revisions, expense transfer, check requests, grant & contract close-out, etc.
