Director of Development & Member Engagement

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This is a new position and is responsible for driving the creation and implementation of the organization’s development plan and managing all aspects of LNM’s development program. Reports directly to President.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Create, implement development plan, budget. Donor and prospect engagement and stewardship. Manage grant proposals. Manage donor collateral materials. Strategic fundraising, outreach events and initiatives, and other income opportunities. Develop Board fundraising capacity. Develop Major gifts and donor acquisition program. Oversee fundraising and golf committees.

Other Information/Requirements: 

College degree, at least 3-5 years non-profit development experience including special events, meeting planning, foundations, planning, outreach. Computer-literate in business applications, donor software a plus. Management experience, problem-solving, excellent communication and people skills, team experience, flexible, organized, and familiar with New Mexico. Proven results in special events and fundraising.
