Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Dev. and Comm. holds the primary responsibility for LCCS fundraising and friend-raising strategies and activities. Through grant solicitations (corporate, foundation, and government ); major donor and individual giving initiatives; marketing and public relations efforts (including branding, print publications, web presence and social media); special events; and other activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Dev. and Comm. will focus on the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all funding sources and key partnerships.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• BA/BS required, MA/MS preferred.
• At least five years experience in fund development in the non-profit environment preferred.
* Proven track record of securing revenue.
* Must be familiar with the communities served.
* Based in Santa Fe with frequent travel to Española.
