Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Presbyterian Ear Institute is seeking a Director of Development. PEI is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to help deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals hear and speak and integrate into mainstream society through the use of the advanced technology of hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

- Develops, implements and evaluates strategic plans for fundraising and community engagement
- Prepare budgets for events and initiatives to ensure financial sustainability
- Plans, executes, and manages full scope of fundraising events
- Manages and maintains CRM software
- Manages the Communications Specialist and the Grant Writer
- Shares the workload of grant planning, writing and editing
- Creates and manages the production of printed materials and digital marketing campaigns

Other Information/Requirements: 

- Proven track record of successful event planning and management.
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed fundraising goals
- Familiarity with fundraising/donor database software programs
- Knowledge of grant proposal writing techniques
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Team-player, enthusiastic, energetic and has a sense of humor

Salary Range: 
Salary DOE: range is $75,000-87,000
