Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position directs all fundraising initiatives and is directly responsible for major gifts, planned giving, sponsorship development, corporate fundraising, and oversees the membership, grant writing program, and events coordination. Position collaborates with the Museum Executive Director, Board of Trustees, and staff to meet financial goals.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Position identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards donors and potential donors to foster growth in major gifts and planned giving; solicits corporate sponsorships; oversees the annual appeal; oversees the membership program, grants program, and facilitates donor recognition. Position is responsible for the Einstein Society Gala, an upper-level membership and cultivation event.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Position supervises three staff members with a budget that has annual revenue goals. Some travel for corporate cultivation, training, or national programming is required. Should be skilled at gift cultivation and have an understanding of planned giving and capital campaign programs.
