Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Director of Development will create and implement fundraising activities, events, projects and tasks; write, submit and oversee adherence to all grants and their requirements; develop and implement fundraising plans/communications/solicitations; oversee management of donor and volunteer database systems; build/maintain positive relationships with volunteers and donors; and supervise development staff and other positions as assigned.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Director of Development must be excellent in written and oral communication skills; proficient in all Microsoft Office products; have ability to work independently; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail and accuracy; and Donor Perfect experience preferred. Will be expected to become proficient.
