Director of Development

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Development will assist the Vice President of Development in implementing a comprehensive program to expand all sources of funding, including individual, corporate, foundation, and government support. This position will assist in formulating and executing long term and short term strategic initiatives, writing funding proposals, government, board and community relations, as well as maintaining relationships with potential and current donors.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and five years experience in high level management position.

Preferred:Master's degree in Business Administration and knowledge of non-profit management strongly preferred.
