Director of Conservation

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Conservation will lead the development of conservation objectives and implementation of conservation strategies throughout New Mexico ensuring alignment with the goals and objectives of the National Audubon Society, Central Flyway and other strategic priority programs/projects. S/he will oversee Audubon New Mexico programs, collaborating with external partners.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director will manage conservation staff and project managers and work in close collaboration with the Executive Director to develop conservation priorities and policies for the state. S/he will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, as well as develop funding proposals.
