Director of Annual Giving

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Annual Giving, reporting to the VP for Advancement, will plan and direct the annual giving program ensuring that UWC-USA meets its financial goals and fosters positive relations with donors and volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Primary duties and responsibilities are: soliciting all of UWC-USA’s constituents directly through mail, email, phonathons, or in-person solicitation; recruiting and coordinating volunteers to assist in solicitation; thanking and stewarding donors; analyzing and re-vamping solicitation strategies as necessary.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
• Experience in and comfort with asking for donations
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (print, phone, and in person)
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 or more years successful experience in fundraising
