Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for strategies related to donor solicitation and cultivation, non-federal grant management. Coordinates, implements and manages successful fundraising campaigns and special events related to raising funds. Create reports post-event to analyze data and determine the marketing effectiveness for the fundraising program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Build new donor relationships while maintaining ongoing ones. Oversees the organization’s engagement with the public through agency events, information sharing targeted towards donors. Develops and implement fundraising strategies with the CEO and advancement staff. Meet with other members of the development team to plan ways to increase private funding. Supervises staff responsible for donor relations, and grant development for the agency. Reports to the CEO.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, nonprofit management/fundraising and other degrees related to fundraising. (Master’s degree preferred). 4-6 years’ experience in fundraising/advancement, customer development, or similar field, successfully achieving/exceeding targeted goals and supervising a small team of professionals. Positive and collaborative attitude when managing groups and overseeing initiatives.
