Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Work closely with house parents and child care staff to assure the children’s needs are met and home is maintained. Duties include all aspects of raising children in an engaged, loving, and caring manner. Meal preparation, transporting children to appointments, school and activities, church attendance, as well as maintaining the home and care for the outdoor animals with the help of the children.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Applicants must possess a demonstrated desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children, many of whom have suffered abuse and neglect. Previous House Parent experience as well as training Positive Discipline techniques and principles highly desired.

Applicants must be able to pass driving and criminal background checks, and drug screening. Our house set up does not allow for House Parents with children, or for spouses who are not also hired on as a House Parent.
