Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of children and families? Full-time position for a Developmental Specialist to provide NM Family Infant Toddler Program early intervention services to families whose infants and toddlers have developmental delays/disabilities. Services are provided in the child’s home or child care setting.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Work as part of a transdisciplinary team with therapists and health care providers to help parents/caregivers to learn how to support the child’s development during daily routines/activities. Assist in preparing children for transition at age 3 to special education preschool or community preschools. Services include developmental assessments, individualized intervention, co-visits and team meetings.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Areas served include Peña Blanca, Placitas, Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Ventana Ranch, Paradise Hills. Experience working with young children and families preferred. Must have own vehicle. BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Education, Family Studies, Social Work or related field required. Competitive salary and benefits.
