Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of an overall fundraising program consistent with SFS’s needs and goals. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining current relationships, as well as establishing new ones that build the organization’s visibility, impact, and financial resources. The Development Officer reports directly to the Executive Director and works in conjunction with the Board’s Development Chair.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge of, and experience with CRM systems (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Tessitura, Salesforce etc.). Experience in researching, writing, and submitting grant applications to business, foundation, and government agencies. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
