Main Areas of Responsibility:
The NM Center on Law and Poverty, a thriving statewide non-profit law firm and advocacy organization, is seeking a highly-skilled development officer to join our development department. Position will be responsible for grant writing and reporting, as well as overall grant management, funder relationship-building, project evaluation, individual and major donor solicitation, and basic database management.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Position will begin as a contractor, become part-time staff within 2-3 months, and become full-time staff approx 2-6 months later. Required: Demonstrated experience in writing grant proposals that received funding; superb writing skills and careful attention to detail; flexibility to join our team in phases as noted above. Other requirements include: basic Microsoft proficiency. Bachelor's Degree preferred; related education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
