Development Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The NM Center on Law and Poverty, a thriving statewide non-profit law firm and advocacy organization, is seeking a highly-skilled development officer to join our development department. Position will be responsible for grant writing and reporting, overall grant management, funder relationship-building, project evaluation, individual and major donor solicitation, and database management.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Position will begin as part-time and become full-time within several months.

Applicants must demonstrate experience in writing grant proposals that received funding. Superb writing skills, careful attention to detail, and basic Microsoft proficiency are required. Bachelor's Degree preferred; related education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
