Development Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Roadrunner Food Bank is looking for an individual who is interested in joining our dynamic development team. As a member of our team, you will help make possible our bold new strategic goals that are leading us into innovative solutions for addressing hunger in New Mexico. We seek a fundraising generalist who is familiar with all phases of moves management including prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. RRFB is an equal opportunity employer.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

As part of the Develompment team:
-Management and engagement of donors
-Strategic planning
-Grant management
-Maximize CRM as a tool for fundraising goals and activities

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience
• Three years’ experience in a fundraising or marketing/sales function.
• Strong experience with fundraising such as: donor cultivation, soliciting, grants and database management
• Demonstrated ability to manage donor or customer relationships.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to do some travel within the state and occasionally out of state
