Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Development Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for all fundraising efforts including individual donations, grant awards and sponsorships. The Development Manager will work closely with ED to build a vibrant development department and a culture of philanthropy and fundraising throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Three years of direct fundraising experience including solicitation and cultivation
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build a rapport with donor prospects
• Experience with grant writing
• Knowledge of development and fundraising principles, practices and ethics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and able to work in a high paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with donor cultivation and solicitation
