Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Development Manager serves as a key leadership team member. The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to build the organization’s visibility, impact, and financial resources. S/he will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual, corporate and philanthropic support.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Overseeing and researching funding sources and trends, to help position the organization ahead of major funding changes or trends Researching and writing grant proposals.
Planning foundation, government, corporate, individual, and special event fundraising, in
conjunction with staff and board personnel.
Assisting in cultivating individual donors to secure major contributions and sponsorships.
Developing, managing and overseeing fundraising mail and email campaigns and programs.
