Main Areas of Responsibility:
The ideal candidate will oversee all areas of fundraising including planning, coordination, implementation, and management of fundraising activities for the foundation. The Development Manager is part of the management team and participates as a team member in making decisions in development and fundraising, marketing, public relations and training.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
•Works with the CEO to set strategy and priorities for chapter fundraising goals through event coordination, national programs, grants, direct mail, corporate sponsors, and planned giving.
•Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundations, corporations, and individuals for fundraising and donations of in-kind resources.
•Monitors and develops public awareness in our communities.
•Represent the chapter at special events and public speaking engagements as requested.
