Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Intern is responsible for supporting the Director of State Operations and Programs in overseeing specific day-to-day operations; posting/responding on all social media platforms; recruiting volunteers for charity events; providing ongoing support to all volunteers by communicating regularly and meeting with particular participants; and attending all development events.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires you to be currently enrolled in college or have a bachelor’s or associates degree; have strong project management and/or organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines;be a team player with the confidence to take the lead on project management (when necessary); have in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their communities; and must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.
