Development Director of St Mary's Assisted Living

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

St. Mary's Assisted Living is a faith-based, non-profit organization. We are in search of a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Development Director.
The position will be part time and we are looking for candidates with experience in fundraising, grant-writing, marketing and strategic planning with good connections in the community. The position will report to the board of directors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Additional areas of responsibility include publishing our quarterly newsletter, tracking donations, attending meetings for the senior ministry of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, attending and leading the fundraising and marketing committees of the board of the directors, executing quarterly fundraising mail-outs, facilitating the planning of a major annual fundraising event, developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising and marketing plan.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Candidates should have a familiarity and appreciation for senior adults, possess a bachelor's degree and or equivalent prior experience in development, have an understanding of the community, demonstrate an understanding of strategic planning and should have strong verbal and writing communication skills, have good computer skills and knowledge of donor tracking programs.
