Main Areas of Responsibility: 

AIGC is looking for a dynamic Development Director to be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all of AIGC’s fundraising, including major gifts program, annual fund, planned-giving, special events, and capital campaigns. Responsible for stewardship of tribal, corporate, foundation, and individual donors & sponsors in the range of $1K to $5M ; identify and cultivate significant new revenue streams to ensure the long-range sustainability of AIGC scholarships & programs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s (or higher) preferred, +10 yrs. exp. in development and marketing, with a successful track record of directing & securing significant gifts from a variety of private sources, including commitments of $1M or greater. Prior exp. working on behalf of tribal organizations or higher education and building local, regional and national relationships & partners required. Native American strongly desired and preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.
