Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Join a dynamic team of individuals committed to transforming the lives of veterans and shelter dogs. The primary functions of the position are to identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts and annual contributions, execute special events and ensure donor stewardship.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for strategically planning and executing development initiatives and fundraising activities. Collaborates with the Board of Directors, CEO, and other organizational staff to ensure success of an annual development plan and to reach fundraising goals. Donor management, event coordination, and volunteer and staff supervision are key elements of this position.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to thrive working independently and as part of a dynamic team, and ability to maintain organized and detailed work while managing multiple priorities and projects. Must like people and dogs. Computer literacy and familiarity with database and CRM management necessary. to Five years professional fundraising experience required.
