Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Prosperity Works builds the capacity of families and organizations with personal, social and financial assets, and advocates for policies and practices that support economic prosperity for all New Mexicans. We are seeking a Development Director to expand our capacity to serve the people of New Mexico.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Successfully develops and manages fundraising strategies and tactics to meet organizational goals
• Oversees fundraising campaigns, prospect identification, donor 
development, donor stewardship, communications, and public relations
• Enthusiastically upholds Prosperity Works’ vision for a future in which all New Mexicans have the knowledge, relationships and opportunities to thrive

Other Information/Requirements: 

• 3-5 yrs exp. in fundraising/development, in a management capacity
• Bachelor’s in journalism, marketing, administration, communications, or a related field
• Success in driving fundraising campaigns and goal fulfillment
• Passion for increasing economic opportunity and asset building, donor development and stewardship
• Bilingual preferred
• MBA/equivalent degree preferred
