Development Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Director will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fund raising program designed to provide significant, contributed income to the NM Museum of Natural History Foundation. The Development Director works directly with the President & CEO and the Board of Directors of the Foundation to develop fund raising strategies. These strategies include annual fund drives, capital campaigns, planned giving, memorial/honorary giving programs, and all donor events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Director oversees the accuracy of all donor records.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree with at least seven (7) years of direct development experience is required, continued training, related certification and Raiser’s Edge knowledge is strongly preferred.
