Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Development Planning:
Create, implement and maintain an Annual Development Plan

Fund-raising:
Responsible for the oversight and development of all Special Fundraising programs and campaigns

Marketing:
Initiate, implement and determine needs for marketing, promotional and advertising materials

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Grantsmanship:
Provide direction and guidance in the research, application/proposal process of Grants

Community Relations/Advocacy:
Promote and heighten community awareness to various community groups through speaking engagements

Major Gifts:
Develop and Maintain Giving Campaign

Website Development:
Evaluate, devise a plan of action, and assist in maintaining an agency website

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Finance or in a related field

Direct experience in fund-raising activities

Strong leadership skills and evidence of maturity in business and personal development

Marketing experience to include direct mail, cold calling, website management and appeals to donors

Demonstrable knowledge and experience in searching for and writing of grants both restricted and unrestricted
