Development Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

New Mexico Wildlife Federation, NM’s oldest sportsman’s conservation organization, seeks a Development Director. The Development Director will work with the NMWF Board of Directors, Executive Director, staff and membership to organize events and fundraising to support our efforts to conserve wildlife habitat and protect equitable opportunity to our outdoor traditions.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position:

Formulates and executes strategic fundraising plans to meet NMWF’s annual budget, including fundraising events, board development, planned giving, major gift solicitation and individual giving.

Works with our small, dynamic staff as part of a team to identify and cultivate possible sources of support and funding, write foundation grants and corporate funding proposals as assigned, maintain the donor database and track development activities.
